Paint Protection Film in Menifee, CA
Clear, self-healing PPF over the panels that catch stone chips and road debris — from the front bumper to the whole car.
Paint protection film
What is paint protection film?
Paint protection film, or PPF, is a clear, nearly invisible urethane film applied over painted panels. It takes the stone chips, light scratches, road debris, bug splatter and parking-lot scuffs that would otherwise land on your paint, helps shield the finish from UV fading and contaminated water, and makes the car easier to clean. Its top coat is self-healing, so light marks can fade away.
Freeway miles across the Inland Empire are hard on a front end. Indoors at our Menifee shop, we cut the film for each panel to its shape before it goes on, apply it with a slip solution and squeegee, and finish the edges cleanly so the protection is close to invisible. PPF goes over the paint you have, so we check its condition first — it won’t hide chips that are already there.

Coverage
How much of your car should you cover?
Coverage is the biggest choice in a PPF job. Here are our four packages, plus what the film itself does for you.

Front bumper
The full front bumper, the headlights and the fog lights: the parts that face the road head-on and collect the most chips. A focused starting point for a daily driver.

Partial front
The full front bumper and headlights, the first third of the hood and the front side mirrors. It protects the high-impact areas; on some colors you may notice where the film ends on the hood.

Full front
The full front bumper, the full hood, the full fenders, the front side mirrors and the fog lights. No film line across the hood, and the most front-end coverage short of covering the whole car.

Full vehicle
Every painted surface on the car — doors, rear quarters, roof and bumpers as well as the front — for owners who want the whole finish protected. Only painted surfaces are covered; glass and trim are left as they are.

Self-healing top coat
Light scratches and minor marks in the top coat can fade with warmth from the sun or warm water. If something cuts through that top layer, it won’t heal — but the film on that panel can be replaced without repainting.

Easier to keep clean
PPF helps shield paint from UV fading, bug acids and hard-water spots, and its stain-resistant surface makes the car easier to wash. The finish under the film stays protected from the daily wear that dulls bare paint.
Side by side
Paint protection film or ceramic coating?
They’re often mentioned together, but they do different jobs — and they can work together.
Paint protection film
- A thick, clear urethane layer over the paint
- Takes stone chips, light scratches and scuffs
- Self-healing top coat for light marks
- A damaged panel is re-filmed, not repainted
Ceramic coating
- A thin liquid layer bonded to the surface
- Adds gloss and makes washing easier
- Doesn’t stop stone chips
- Can go over PPF for easier cleaning

What our customers say
They did a awesome job, i got heat prevention all around, and all my windows tinted. Yes also the windshield. The guy was real friendly, i didnt have a ride back to the house and i didnt want to uber home, so i came prepared to wait the whole 3 hours, he kept me uo to date on the eta, and also told me i can relax and watch the tv if i wanted. I had my switch, so i just played smash bros while i waited and walked to the gas station near by.
I recently took my new Ford Maverick in for window tinting and had an incredible experience. The owner really took the time to explain the technical differences between the various grades of film. What really sold me was the heat lamp demonstration—he showed the actual UV protection and heat rejection of each grade in real-time. We were originally planning on a lower-grade tint, but seeing that demo made it a no-brainer to opt for the higher-grade protection. The installation is flawless, the truck looks awesome, and it is already making a huge difference in the heat. If you want a pro who actually educates his customers, this is the place!
Went in for a windshield repair for a significant rock strike that immediately spiderwebbed to an inch across, that was in a difficult area towards the corner of my windshield. What I admired most was the 100% honest disclaimer this would not likely be a full repair but a repair meant to stop further progression. I have had many rock strikes and windshield replacements over the years and I knew a full repair was unlikely. The repair was done quickly and at a very fair price. The repair was much more complete than I expected. Highly recommended and will return.
Adriana at tint monsters was absolutely amazing! She was quick, professional, and incredibly polite throughout the whole experience. Everything was smooth from start to finish, and her work speaks for itself. On top of that, she has such a great, friendly vibe definitely made the visit even better. Highly recommend Adriana and Tiny Monsters to anyone looking for top-quality service!
PPF is a clear, nearly invisible urethane film applied to painted panels to protect them from stone chips, light scratches and road debris. Quality films have a self-healing top coat and resist stains, and the film also shields the paint from UV fading. It can go on any painted area you want protected.
Yes, within limits. The self-healing top coat lets light scratches and minor marks fade, helped by warmth from the sun or warm water. If something cuts through that top layer, the film won’t heal — but the damaged piece can be replaced without touching the paint underneath.
Start with how you drive. Lots of freeway miles? Full front covers the whole hood and fenders, with no film line across the hood. A car that mostly sees local roads may be fine with the front bumper or partial front. Full vehicle suits owners who want every painted surface covered. We’ll help you decide.
We prepare the paint, then cut the film for each panel to its shape before it goes on, so it fits precisely and the edges finish cleanly. The film is applied with a specially mixed slip solution and squeegeed into place for a near-invisible finish.
Yes. With the right preparation it comes off without leaving glue residue or damaging the surface, provided the paint is factory original or was refinished by a factory-approved body shop. If panels have been resprayed elsewhere, tell us and we’ll look at them before we start.
It depends on the film, how the car is stored and how it’s cared for. PPF comes with a warranty, and we’ll go through its terms for the film you choose before we start. Wash gently, keep pressure-washer nozzles back from the edges and clean off bird droppings and bugs promptly.
It depends on the package: a front bumper is a far shorter job than a full vehicle, and paint prep can add time. We’ll confirm how long we need the car when we quote, so you can plan around it.
