It’s an unincorporated community in Riverside County, founded in 1886 in Pleasant Valley, then part of San Diego County, and named after Amy Winchester, the widow of Horace Winchester. It was largely rural for most of its history, grew quickly in the housing boom of the early 2000s, and new subdivisions, schools and parks followed in the later 2010s. Winchester Road, which is Highway 79, runs past Diamond Valley Lake and through the community. To reach us, take Newport Road west into Menifee, then I-215 north about four miles to the Ethanac Road exit. In a straight line we’re roughly 6 miles apart. I recently took my new Ford Maverick in for window tinting and had an incredible experience. The owner really took the time to explain the technical differences between the various grades of film. What really sold me was the heat lamp demonstration—he showed the actual UV protection and heat rejection of each grade in real-time. We were originally planning on a lower-grade tint, but seeing that demo made it a no-brainer to opt for the higher-grade protection. Went in for a windshield repair for a significant rock strike that immediately spiderwebbed to an inch across, that was in a difficult area towards the corner of my windshield. What I admired most was the 100% honest disclaimer this would not likely be a full repair but a repair meant to stop further progression. I have had many rock strikes and windshield replacements over the years and I knew a full repair was unlikely. The repair was done quickly and at a very fair price. The repair was much more complete than I expected. Highly recommended and will return.

Car tinting is done indoors, by appointment, and we’re open seven days a week.
Yes, at your Winchester home or business. Tell us roughly how many windows you’d like covered (our quote form asks for a range, from 1–4 up to 16 or more) and what’s bothering you, and we’ll arrange a visit. On the day, we protect the area around each window, clean the glass and apply the film to the inside.
Not at all. Doing it early means new floors, cabinets and furniture spend less time in direct sun, since film slows fading even though nothing stops it completely. Newer homes often have dual-pane or low-E glass, so we check what you have and only recommend a film made to suit it. The film goes on the inside of the glass, and we’ll explain how to clean it.
The rear side windows can be any shade, and so can the back window if the car has outside mirrors on both sides. The front side windows take clear, colorless UV film, which still blocks UV and turns away heat. On the windshield, only a strip across the top is allowed, its bottom edge at least 29 inches above the driver’s seat, and it can’t be red or amber. Medical exemptions exist; the details are on our tint-law page.
The Union film we fit comes with a lifetime warranty on the film, on the manufacturer’s terms. We’ll go over what it covers when you pick up your car, along with the aftercare: clean tinted glass with a soft, non-abrasive cloth and skip ammonia-based cleaners.
