Its suburban neighborhoods started going up in the late 1980s, and two freeways cross it: I-15 on the west side and I-215 on the east, meeting near the Temecula line. That makes us easy to reach. Get on I-215 north at Murrieta Hot Springs Road or Clinton Keith Road and stay on it for 10 to 13 miles, to exit 14, Ethanac Road, in Menifee. The shop is a third of a mile east of the exit. I recently took my new Ford Maverick in for window tinting and had an incredible experience. The owner really took the time to explain the technical differences between the various grades of film. What really sold me was the heat lamp demonstration—he showed the actual UV protection and heat rejection of each grade in real-time. We were originally planning on a lower-grade tint, but seeing that demo made it a no-brainer to opt for the higher-grade protection. The installation is flawless, the truck looks awesome, and it is already making a huge difference in the heat. If you want a pro who actually educates his customers, this is the place!
Went in for a windshield repair for a significant rock strike that immediately spiderwebbed to an inch across, that was in a difficult area towards the corner of my windshield. What I admired most was the 100% honest disclaimer this would not likely be a full repair but a repair meant to stop further progression. I have had many rock strikes and windshield replacements over the years and I knew a full repair was unlikely. The repair was done quickly and at a very fair price. The repair was much more complete than I expected. Highly recommended and will return.

Yes, and for this part we come to Murrieta. An installer visits, looks at the glass and asks what’s bothering you: heat, glare, privacy or fading furniture. From there we recommend a film for each window and fit it on the inside of the glass. Offices and shops in Murrieta get the same visit first, so the film suits the building as well as the problem.
For long, sunny drives, the type of film can matter as much as the shade. Union’s spec sheet puts Ceramic IR at 87% of infrared blocked and 65% of the sun’s total energy rejected; Carbon IR comes in at 75% and 61%. Both stop 99.99% of UV. If you’re torn, we can show you both at the shop. Either way, California only allows clear UV film on the front side windows.
The rear side windows can be any shade, and so can the back window if the car has outside mirrors on both sides. The front side windows take clear, colorless UV film, which still blocks UV and turns away heat. On the windshield, only a strip across the top is allowed, its bottom edge at least 29 inches above the driver’s seat, and it can’t be red or amber. Medical exemptions exist; the details are on our tint-law page.
The Union film we fit comes with a lifetime warranty on the film, on the manufacturer’s terms. We’ll go over what it covers when you pick up your car, along with the aftercare: clean tinted glass with a soft, non-abrasive cloth and skip ammonia-based cleaners.
